Adoption Fees: 

• Cats Onsite - $25
• Cats Offsite - $35
• Kittens (Under 6 months) - $100 (2nd Kitten Free)
• Dogs - $125
• Puppies (Under 6 months) - $325

We accept VISA, MC, Discover, checks and cash. We cannot accept American Express cards.

All Adoptions include:

• Spay or Neuter surgery
• Distemper Combination Vaccinations including Rabies
• Micro-chip Identification
• Collar & N.O.A.H. ID Tag
• Cardboard cat carriers for cat adoptions

**We require a dog to dog introduction by one of our trained staff members, so please bring any dogs currently living in your home. Your dog will not be allowed inside of the building, so please leave him or her in the car until time for the meet and greet.

Upon arriving at N.O.A.H. dogs immediately start manners training through our in-house training program. Taught mainly by specially trained volunteers, the manners training is designed to better prepare the dogs for their new home. The training also benefits the dogs by offering stimulation and human interaction during their stay at N.O.A.H..  Cats for adoption at N.O.A.H. enjoy the luxury of an open-room cat colony and an outside sun porch. With volunteers whose only job is to nurture the cats, this low-stress area is a welcome reprieve for the cats that come to N.O.A.H..

About our Adoption Program:

Since opening in May 2003, over 20,000 dogs and cats have entered our program and been given a new opportunity for a loving home through our adoption program.  All of our animals come from overcrowded animal shelters.  Once the animals come to N.O.A.H. they will never be euthanized due of lack of space!

We typically adopt 3,000 dogs and cats per year with a 5-10 day average length of stay.

Unable to be adopted at the first shelter and considered by many as "hard to adopt" because of age, coat color, breed, or size, these deserving animals are now enriching the lives of N.O.A.H. adopters.

As a constant source of support and relief for our many partner shelters, we have demonstrated the benefits of partnerships to help animals.

Pets from our adoption program have graced the homes of people in 20 of the 39 Washington state counties, 12 other states, and British Columbia, Canada.

Barn Buddies
Cats Who Play All Day

We are looking for cat lovers who have a barn, secure outside structures, or an indoor/outdoor home and are interested in adopting cats that are not suitable for life strictly inside of a house. These great cats are the safest way to control the rodent population in your barn or on your property. Not only does it save you time and money of calling an exterminator, they are also fun to watch. Don't forget you would be saving a life. These cats are a wonderful asset to have on any property, and have been altered and are current on their vacinations. For more information, click here.
