FREE Feral Cat Spay/Neuter

Everyday, N.O.A.H. offers FREE spay/neuter for feral cats. As part of the national marking system, the tip of one of the feral cats' ears will be removed to identify the cat as already altered.

N.O.A.H. has humane cat traps available on loan ($50 refundable cash deposit required) for transporting the cats to and from N.O.A.H..  Please call us at (360)629-7055 for complete information.

*All cats will be returned to their caregivers the same day as surgery. N.O.A.H. cannot keep cats for adoption.

  • Traps are rented in two week increments.
  • N.O.A.H. cat traps are to be used for trapping feral cats for "Trap-Neuter-Release" (trap the cat, spay/neuter, return and release the cat back to its home area; with a caretaker to monitor the cat throughout its lifetime.)
  • N.O.A.H. cat traps can also be used for removing feral cats from a specific area where they may be in danger, are causing harm to other animals, or have been injured.

N.O.A.H. Animal Adoption & Spay/Neuter Center is a non-profit dedicated to stopping the euthanasia of pets in NW Washington.  Having pets altered is the number on way to stop pet overpopulation.  Every year over 35,000 dogs and cats are killed in Washington animal shelters because there are not enough homes.  N.O.A.H. is proud to be a leader in spay/neuter and is ranked 2nd in the entire state for the number of surgeries performed!  Over 25,000 pets have been altered at N.O.A.H. since opening in 2003.

Reducing the number of homeless pets

Since opening, over 24,000 dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered - forever more impacting and reducing the number of homeless pets in our community.

By targeting low-income pet guardians, a population is reached that price, not inclination, had previously made it impossible to spay or neuter their pets. The fee for a dog surgery is $55 and male cats are $25 and female cats $30.

Statewide statistics indicate that cats are euthanized 2 to 1 over dogs. Therefore, we schedule many more cats surgeries than dogs.

Our free feral cat spay/neuter program is offered everyday. This has become a invaluable resource to the hardworking and dedicated volunteer trappers in the community.

Funds are raised for special spay/neuter days throughout the year to offer these low-cost surgeries.

Our high quality program and state-of-the-art facility have resulted in many local veterinarians recommending our spay/neuter services.
