Cats: Animal Care Position - Maintain a clean and safe environment for all of the cats and the public. Prepare meals and provide love and socialization to the animals. Includes laundry, sweeping, mopping and dishes. What a great way to learn about dogs and cats and help at the same time!

Volunteers Needed Daily
HIGH NEED Time and Days: 2-3 Volunteers needed each time/day

8 am – 12 pm: Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Friday

12 - 4: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

3-6: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

 

Off-Site Cat Care Specialist – IMMEDIATE NEED! Care for cats available for adoption at off-site partner businesses. Includes feeding, cleaning, stocking supplies, and socializing cats.

Volunteers Needed: Sunday through Saturday, Flexible times.

NEW LOCATION!!: Petco (Lynnwood, WA): Volunteers needed daily to care for our cats / kittens while awaiting adoption. Positions open Sunday - Saturday. Flexible schedules. Approx. 1 hour shifts MORNING: anytime between 8am -12p, AFTERNOON: 3:00pm - Close

PetSmart (Marysville, WA): - We have 5 cats available for adoption that need care in the AM anytime between 8 a.m. – 12, and then again in the PM anytime between 2 p.m. – closing.
Petco (Smokey Point, WA): Come in to care for our 2 cats there waiting for adoption anytime during the day. Mornings preferred.
Petco (Mount Vernon, WA): - Check in on the one kitty anytime during the day to assure they are happy, clean and loved.

Dogs: Animal Care Positions & Dog Walkers - Maintain a clean and safe environment for all of the dogs and the public. Prepare meals and provide love and socialization. Includes laundry, sweeping & mopping and dishes. Join N.O.A.H.'s dog walking team in ensuring each of our dogs receive the necessary exercise, as well as, providing Good Manners training. *Dog 101 Training Class required yearly.

MatchMaker Assistant – Help our MatchMakers assist the public to find that "perfect" companion.  *This position is only available as a promotion after 3 months of continuous volunteerism, or approved by the Adoptions Manager. One month trail period required.
Matchmakers are scheduled 10:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. & 2:30 - 6:30 pm for 4 hours shifts, Sunday through Saturday. MUST interview with Adoptions Manager.

Receptionist & Greeter - Our receptionists answer every incoming phone call and greet every visitor with a smile! Help manage N.O.A.H.'s busy front desk and reception area. Receptionists must be flexible, able to multi-task, friendly and provide superior customer service. *This position is only available as a promotion after 3 months of continuous volunteerism or previous experience / interview with Volunteer Coordinator – one month trial period.

 DAILY NEED: 12pm-5pm- Second Person!!!

Veterinary Clinic Assistant – HIGH NEED! Assist clinic staff with patient intake & pick-up, surgical instrument cleaning, patient monitoring, cleaning, and record filing. *This position is only available as a promotion after 3 months of continuous volunteerism or previous medical experience.

Sunday: 7:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday:  1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

On Call Persons Needed as well.

Volunteers Needed: We are currently seeking people that already have some veterinary / clinic/ healthcare experience to start working in the clinic. Volunteers will be trained and then scheduled according to schedule needs. We are also seeking trained volunteers who can be on call as needed.

Administrative Assistant - Assist N.O.A.H. staff with various duties including filing, typing, data entry and other administrative duties.

Volunteers Needed: For the Volunteer Department, Fundraising Department, Operations Department, Vet Clinic,  We are looking for skilled office personnel to assist during the week days. Prior experience preferred. Great for resume, super references! Flexible Hours.

Special Events – HELP NEEDED IMMEDIATELY with our Off Site Adoptions.  Assist staff at informational booths and off-site fundraising and adoption events.

Volunteers Needed: Assist our Fundraising, Adoptions, and Volunteer Departments. Help Plan and Prepare for Events that are held throughout the year. Duties may include: Procurement of Items, Taking in Donations, Scheduling for Help at Events, and other duties as they arise. As needed.

Foster Care Parent – HIGH NEED!!! Our foster program helps to save lives of underage kittens, puppies, animals needing socialization or time to recoup from illness.  You help us by caring for them in your home until they are ready for adoption.  Let us know if you can help!  *Foster Training 101 Class required. Grounds Upkeep and Beautification

Volunteers Needed: We will schedule persons daily to assist in the upkeep of our beautiful 17 + acres. Under the supervision of our Maintenance personnel. Weekly to mow, edge, upkeep- flower beds, trails, pruning.  Other duties as needed.
