Betty White Day

January 10, 2023
Beloved TV legend and animal lover Betty White passed away at 99 on December 22nd, 2022. But, even after her passing, fans rallied in her honor to continue her legacy of supporting animal welfare. On January 17th, what would have been her 100th birthday, donors found a way to celebrate the star by donating to animal shelters in her honor through the Betty White Challenge, which encouraged donors to give in support of their local animal shelters.

Last year, our incredible community raised nearly $38,000 in Betty’s honor, putting the love of Betty and the animals on full display. This year, The NOAH Center would be honored to again receive donations again on behalf of Betty’s birthday.

Donations in Betty’s honor will go a long way in supporting the lifesaving work at The NOAH Center. Funds help us to rescue at-risk pets from euthanasia, providing healthy food, medical care, safe shelter, spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, and ultimately, a forever home.

Known for her roles as Sue Ann Nivens on the Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls, Betty’s legacy of loving and caring for needy animals continues through you. To donate in Betty’s honor, please visit www.thenoahcenter.org/tributememorial

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
