I adopted Helena literally today and felt the urge to write you.
I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have come into Helena’s life, she is an incredible girl.
I have never in all my years being a dog owner or animal owner ever felt the bond on such a personal level like I have with Helena.
It’s so hard to put into words or to try and explain it would be like trying to describe a color.
We are the perfect pair, with a similar past of losing ones we have grown attached to, mine with the brothers and sisters I served with and her getting her hopes bonding with someone or a family only to lose them.
(she just farted ?)I made her a promise that I will never leave her, hurt her or abandon her and I think she can feel I keep my promises.
Thank you for being you and thank you for being there for the ones that don’t have a voice.
I am truly grateful for the Noah center and the incredible volunteers and employees that I have had the pleasure of meeting.From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
