Laugh Your Tail Off, 2023 Breaks Records

March 17, 2023

The NOAH Center recently held its annual Laugh Your Tail Off event, and it was a huge success! With a record-breaking attendance of 600 guests and a whopping $376,000 raised, the event was a memorable evening filled with laughter and fun.

Attendees had a fantastic time bidding on unique items in the Silent Auction, playing the Gift Card Game, and winning trips to Mexico, Hawaii, and Africa in the Live Auction with our favorite Auctioneer, Matt Lorch. The night’s highlight, however, was the incredible comedy set by Preacher Lawson, which had everyone laughing out loud!

The incredible success of the event was made possible by the support of the local community, including businesses that donated items for the auctions and our sponsors, Baird Private Wealth Management (The Ragan Group), Mud Bay, Coastal Community Bank, Kendall Subaru of Marysville, Bertelsen Winery, S&S Roofing, Seattle Special Care Dental, and McCarthy General Contractors. The NOAH Center also thanks Tulalip Resort Casino for hosting the event and providing an absolutely amazing venue.

Events like Laugh Your Tail Off are critical for The NOAH Center’s ongoing mission to rescue homeless animals from euthanasia and provide them with a second chance at life. These events not only help to raise vital funds but also bring together community members who are passionate about animal welfare.

At The NOAH Center, we rescue animals from overcrowded partner shelters where they may be destined for euthanasia or too long of time spent languishing in the shelter, irreparably damaging their psyche and adoptability. We welcome them into our state-of-the-art facility, and provide them with necessary medical treatment, including spaying/neutering and vaccinations, as well as food, shelter, and loving care until they find their forever home. We have a network of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the best possible care.

The funds raised at events like Laugh Your Tail Off go directly toward supporting our lifesaving work. Costs relating to the rescue, rehabilitation, and finding a loving home for each animal in our care stack up quickly for each animal. But, The NOAH Center is committed to making sure that every animal has the chance to find a loving home, and we rely on the support of our community to make this possible.

In addition to the important fundraising aspect, events like Laugh Your Tail Off also help to raise awareness about the issue of animal homelessness in our community. By bringing together animal lovers from all walks of life, we can work together to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.

Furthermore, events like Laugh Your Tail Off offer an opportunity for businesses and organizations to show their support for animal welfare. Through sponsorship or donating items for auction, businesses can make a meaningful contribution to The NOAH Center’s mission while also raising awareness of their own brand and values.

The NOAH Center is grateful for the incredible support of our community and the success of events like Laugh Your Tail Off. It is through this support that we are able to continue rescuing animals and providing them with the love and care they deserve. We invite everyone to join us in our mission to end animal homelessness and promote animal welfare in our community, and encourage you to attend our next event, Music for the Animals at Bertelsen Winery in Mount Vernon.
