Spay & Neuter Clinic
The NOAH Center’s Spay & Neuter Clinic provides medical care and treatments to all of the incoming animals we rescue. Additionally, it houses our Low-Income Spay & Neuter program, offering affordable spay and neuter surgeries, as well as other related services, to low-income members of our community, helping to make pet-ownership possible for all. Our Clinic operates off of funding from the public and is always in need of financial support.

What to expect
A detailed overview of what you can expect while utilizing our high-volume Spay & Neuter services.

SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS
Your pets appointment will be for a specific day, but to provide as many surgeries as possible, all pets are dropped off at our clinic at 8:00 am, seen throughout the day, and are ready to go home at 4:30 pm.
Our Spay & Neuter Clinic prioritizes surgeries for transfers of incoming pets to our adoption center, with appointments for the public made available next. We are experiencing incredibly high demand for our services and appointments can be challenging to secure.

BEFORE SURGERY
The evening before surgery your pet should have their dinner as normal, but no other food after midnight and no breakfast. Your pet may have water as normal. Kittens should have access to wet food up to leaving for their surgery.
CATS: The morning of your cats surgery, prepare their crate with a soft absorbent towel or blanket. Your cat will be inside of their crate before and after surgery, and accidents are not uncommon, especially when coming-to from the anesthesia.
DOGS: Please ensure your dog has had plenty of opportunity to potty outside and has a secure leash and collar to wear to the Clinic.

DROP OFF
Our address is 31300 Brandstrom Road, Stanwood WA 98292. Enter our property gates and our Spay & Neuter Clinic is the first building on the left.
Use the parking lot in front of the Clinic, and please stay in your car; a staff member will come to you for check-in. Payment is due at drop-off unless prepaid online, or we accept cash. We will provide you with a number to display on your car when you return for pickup.
Please plan to arrive between 7:50-8 am; this helps us work as efficiently as possible. Please be patient as the check-in process for all pets can take up to 30 minutes. Late arrivals may result in a delay or cancellation of your pet’s surgery.

PICK UP
Check-out is from 4-4:30 pm, please arrive by 4 pm. When you arrive back at the Clinic, place your pet’s assigned number on your windshield and we will bring your animal out to you.
Late pick-ups delay our staff returning home to their families and create additional expenses for our organization. Pick-up after 4:30 pm may result in an additional fee.
Schedule An appointment
We strongly encourage you to read through all available information relating to our services and what to expect (all found above) before moving forward with scheduling your appointment.
Due to many variables relating to The NOAH Center overall mission including incoming adoptable pets needing surgery, necessary Clinic staffing, and availability of experienced veterinarians, appointments are released throughout the week for all available openings within the next 2-4 days. Because of the incredibly high demand for our services, these appointments fill very quickly. If no appointments are available, we encourage you to check back regularly. We cannot schedule appointments over the phone, and we do not maintain a waiting list.
If you are ready to schedule your appointment and pay your non-refundable deposit, please use the button below.

post-op care instructions
Coming completely out of anesthesia can take several hours and grogginess, disorientation, and agitation can all be very normal. Take pets home immediately, and keep them contained somewhere warm, calm and quiet. It’s usually best for cats to spend a few more hours in their crate once they return home.
Pets can have a small snack but it is common for them to initially refuse food. Pets will often be back to normal by the next morning, but it may take up to 3-4 days for their appetite and energy level to gradually return to normal.

MOM’S LAST LITTER
Do you have a pregnant or postpartum pet and not sure what to do next? The NOAH Center can help find homes for the litter as well as provide the mother with her spay surgery.

Building A Pawsitive Future: Capital Campaign
Our current Spay & Neuter Clinic needs your help! When originally designed, the Clinic expected to perform around 2,500 spay and neuter surgeries per year, but we complete well over 8,000 annually and we’re busting at the seams. We’re raising 3 million dollars to build a new, thoughtfully designed, and state-of-the-art high-volume spay and neuter clinic, but we need YOUR help to see this important vision become a reality.
