Adopting A New Pet

Thank you for considering adopting your new furry friend from The NOAH Center!
We are excited to help you find your perfect four-legged match! Learn more about our adoption process and take a look at our adoptable pets below.

1. We encourage all family members to be involved in the adoption process. Please bring all human members of the household to choose your new fur baby.
2. Please bring all the dogs currently living in your home to be properly introduced. You will need to leave your dog(s) in your vehicle until the introduction. If it is hot outside, you may need to bring a helper to sit outside in the shade with your dog.
3. If you lease or rent your home, please review your terms to make sure you are allowed to have a pet reside with you, if there are any size or breed limitations, and if you need to pay an additional damage deposit. Please be prepared with your lease or rental agreement or landlord's permission letter to adopt a pet; this could delay adoption if you do not have permission.
4. We accept most forms of payment for adoption fees, including VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express, and cash. At this time, we do not accept checks.

Puppies
When puppies are available, we will have an active list in which guests can sign up for appointment times. Guests can arrive as early as 8 am to choose a time slot to visit the available puppies. Appointments, if reserved, start at 11 am and are 1 hour for puppies. Appointments are available first-come, first-serve, and to reserve a place for any of our available puppies, interested guests must speak with us in person. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve specific puppies for appointments. There will only be enough spots on the list for the number of puppies available (for example, the first time slot will visit with all available puppies, whereas the last time slot only visits with the last puppy available). The guest’s information must be complete with name, phone number, kids and other pets information, and whether they rent/own.
Puppies are a huge commitment. Please be prepared for several months or more of potty training, behavior modification, and potentially sleepless nights!

1. We encourage all family members to be involved in the adoption process. Please bring all human members of the household to choose your new fur baby.
3. Plan to have a "Sanctuary Room" ready for your new cat to settle into before being let out into the rest of the home. A mostly unused bathroom or spare bedroom works well for this. This process can dramatically reduce post-adoption problems and is strongly recommended.
4. If you lease or rent your home, please review your terms to make sure you are allowed to have a pet reside with you and if you need to pay an additional damage deposit. Please be prepared with your lease or rental agreement or landlord's permission letter to adopt a pet; this could delay adoption if you do not have permission.
